힌두권 – 인도에 계속되는 교회 핍박

[상황설명]

• Ranking 17 on the World Watch List, Open Doors has reported that persecution in India has increased by 34% since 2013, and the Hindu extremists have been attacking Christians more frequently and more violently. This is due to a drastic shift on how Christianity is viewed by Hindus, after the new Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office in May of 2014, declaring India a Hindu nation.

• It has been reported that around 8,000 Christians have suffered persecution in India just last year.
• This April, a pastor and his pregnant wife were attacked and beaten, and a bible and other items inside the church were set on fire, in Chhattisgarh.
• In May, A Protestant church in Jabat was attacked by a mob of 500 Hindu extremists who threw stones at Christians and damaged the church's entrance over an allegedly torn nationalist flag.
• Early this month, Hindu extremists have beaten and tortured 29 Christians who refused to deny their faith in Christ in the village of Katholi.
• Many missionaries have been deported or facing deportation, and many others are being denied of visas to enter or return to India.
• Despite persecution and hardship, Christianity is expanding quickly, as India's third-largest religion with nearly 30 million followers, or approximately 3% of India's population. (Source: christiantoday.com, cbn.com, christianpost.com, opendoorusa.org – revised by UPS)

 

이 말씀을 힌두 권에 선포합니다.

"그러나 너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유가 된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러 내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하심이라" (베드로전서 2:9)

 

다시 한번 이 말씀을 인도의 교회 에게 선포합니다.

하나님께서 인도의 교회에게 말씀하시기를 너희는 택하신 족속이라 왕 같은 제사장이고 거룩한 나라이며 하나님의 소유가 된 백성이라고 하십니다. 하나님은 인도의 교회를 어두운 데서 불러 내어 주님의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 하나님의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하실 것을 예수그리스도의 이름으로 선포합니다.

 

[영적파수 기도]

Heavenly Father, the enemy continues to intimidate the church community in India, by enforcing the law of the Hindu nation established by the new political party led by Prime Minister Modi; the evil continues to instill fear and distress by physical death threats; and the rulers of the world are attempting to rob the hope of salvation by preventing the missionaries to enter or stay in India.

Sovereign Lord, You are almighty. We proclaim, You are the ruler of India. We pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon Your bride in India. The 30 mil, who already call themselves followers of Christ, may You lift them up in times of crisis and persecution to call on the only name, above all names, the name that gives life, the name of Jesus. We pray that through their faith and obedience, their numbers multiply, transforming the Hindu nation into a Holy nation of God.

Loving Father, we pray for Your compassion upon those called to serve in India but are facing deportation or are unable to enter the country. May they never forget the promise of the new birth of India into a living hope of the eternal life, and whether they may be inside or outside of India, that they may intercede for the church of India, with all their hearts, praising the faithful God who will fulfill His promise.

 

두 가지를 놓고 기도합니다.

인도의 핍박 받고 있는 교회를 하나님께 올려 들이고 보호하시기를 기도합니다.

2년전에 Hindu 나라로 법제화되어 더 심하게 핍박 받고 있는 인도 교회는 하나님의 나라이며 마지막 시대 선교의 도구임을 늘 기억하게 하시고; 하나님의 소유가 된 백성으로 하나님께서 지켜 보호하시며; 이 고난을 잘 감당하게 하시어 믿음의 시험을 담대히 통과할 수 있도록 기도합니다.

 

인도를 품고 사역을 감당하고 계시는 선교사님들과 현재 추방이나 비자 문제로 인도로 들어가지 못하고 게시는 선교사님들을 축복하며 기도합니다.

인도 선교사님들의 눈물과 기도와 헌신으로 인도 인구에 30 mil (3천만명)이 크리스천이라는 사실을 깨닫고 위로 받으시기를 기도하며; 늘 성령 충만과 하나님의 공급하심으로 있는 곳에서 묵묵히 하나님의 얼굴을 구하며 온전한 예배 자로 쓰임 받을 수 있기를 선교사님들을 축복하며 기도합니다.
